Description : Butler Greenwood was established in the 1790's, and members of the original family continue to live in and love the place today. The antebellum main house is filled with priceless antiques, including the area's finest original Victorian formal parlor, and is surrounded by 19th-century gardens and hundreds of moss-draped live oak trees. Description : Surrounded by spacious galleries, this house was built on a Spanish land grant. It is one of the few remaining complete antebellum plantation complexes, and its dependencies include a law office/school house, milk house, kitchen, smoke house, old slave quarters, barns and other structures that complete a working plantation. The Cottage offers plantation tours and overnight lidging.
