Angola - Louisiana State Penitentiary Museum
Museum showcases the history of Angola Prison, Louisiana's State Penitentiary, the nation's largest maximum-security facility. The prison was built on the grounds of an old plantation, and still operates a working farm. The museum includes displays of guard equipment, confiscated contraband items from prisoners, and written accounts from guards and prisoners alike.
West Feliciana Historical Society Museum
Located in the Historic District. Restored hardware store with exhibits of the area's history, including Audubon, the Lost City of Bayou Sara, the West Florida rebellion and more. Daily 9-5 Sunday 9:30-5:00
