This weekend we will be celebrating our Independence and we have fun things going on in St. Francisville.
 

Music at the Mag

Thursday Night – Matt the Electrician

Flag Pull

Saturday, Sunday and (some will be open on Monday) local stores are participating in the Flag Pull.

While you are out shopping at one of the following stores with holiday weekend, remember to pull a flag at checkout to get an extra discount.  Pull a red flag and receive 15% off, pull a white flag and receive 10% off, pull a blue flag and receive 5% off, pull a green flag and get a candy treat.  The following stores will participate – Patrick’s Fine Jewelers, Hillcrest, Few of My Favorite Things, Historical Society Museum, Sage Hill, St. Francisville Inn’s Wine Parlor, Grandmothers Buttons and The Shanty Too.

Pie Contest at the Birdman

Monday July 4th the Birdman will host a Watermelon eating and seed spitting contest along with their Pie Contest.  Bring two pies one to sell and one to judge, entry should arrive at 12:30 and Judging will begin at 1:00pm.  All proceeds will benefit Arts For All.  For more info. Call Lynn at 635-3665.

 
Fireworks, Music and Food

Monday July 4th the American Legion will have hot dogs, popcorn and drinks, we will have music and fireworks will be shot at dark.  Come out to the Town Ball Park on Burnett Rd, behind the Sonic, come early and get a great spot.  Tailgate with your friends.

Everybody is open Friday and Saturday for business as usual except the Bluffs will be closed all weekend (the restaurant). 

Sunday:

Open: Audubon Café, Birdman, Carriage House until 2pm, Feliciana Seafood, Magnolia Café, Oxbow until 2pm, Sonny’s Pizza, South of the Border until 3pm, Hill Country Smokehouse.

Closed: East Dragon, Elm Park, Que Pasa, The Bluffs, Wing It Grill.

Monday:

Open: Birdman, East Dragon, Magnolia Café, Sonny’s Pizza, Hill Country Smokehouse.

Closed: Audubon Café, Carriage House, Elm Park, Feliciana Seafood, Oxbow, Que Pasa, South of the Border, The Bluffs, Wing It Grill.
