 GREAT AMERICAN STEAMBOAT MAY SCHEDULE:

The steamboat will land in St. Francisville on May 19, May 24, and May 31, 2012.  They will be in port from 8am until 1pm.

 

THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST at Angola on May 3, 4, and 5, 2012

Gates open at 9am,   play starts at 10am.  This two hour   play, as performed by a cast of offenders from Louisiana State Penitentiary   and Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women depicts the complete story of   Jesus’ life and resurrection.  These performances   will be presented as a live outdoor event of the grounds of Louisiana State   Penitentiary-Angola.  Tickets are   $10.00 per person and can be purchased from the Louisiana Prison Chapel   foundation by calling 225 931-3664or the LSP Museum  225 655-2592.

ALZHEIMER’S FOUNDATION BENEFIT- MAGNUSON HOTEL SATURDAY MAY 12, 2012

Ginger Snapp will be performing ADELE , the event starts at 7:30pm there will be refreshments, dancing, a silent auction and door prizes.  For ticket information call Matthew Green 225 721-3668.

ARTS FOR ALL – MOTHERS DAY TOUR OF AREA ART GALLERIES – May 13, 2012

ST. FRANCISVILLE FARMERS MARKET- OPEN OPEN OPEN

The farmers market is open year round on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am until 1pm on Wilcox Street.

COMMUNITY MARKET Saturday-May 19, 2012

The Community Market is every third Saturday in Parker Park from 9am until 1pm.  We have music, baked goods, handmade jewelry, clothes, arrowheads, photography, bows, homemade bread and vegetables in season.  Come out and support our Local Artists.
